I refuse to believe we spend 40+ years becoming ourselves

just to play it safe

from here.

I speak about the stories, expectations and relationships that shape who we become ...

and what happens when we start questioning them.

Expect stories. Psychology.

Behaviour change.

A few uncomfortable truths.

And probably a prop.

I like talks that make people laugh - then catch themselves thinking about something differently on the drive home.

Who Are You Becoming Next?

Identity, reinvention & the second half of life

There comes a point when the life you've built fits… but somehow doesn't fit quite the same anymore.

This talk explores who we become after decades of roles, expectations and doing what made sense

and the freedom that comes from asking what do I actually want now?

Who Told You That?

The stories we mistake for facts

We all carry around rules about who we are, what we're capable of, what relationships should look like and what's “too late” for us.

But where did they come from? A funny, psychology-backed look at the stories running our lives...and what can happen when we start questioning them.

Great for: conferences • workplaces • women's events • personal development

The Long Relationship

What nobody tells us about loving the same person for a very long time

We're taught how to fall in love. We're given remarkably little help with what happens ten, twenty or thirty years later.

Familiarity, attraction, resentment, identity, changing bodies, changing lives.

This talk takes an entertaining and refreshingly human look at what it actually takes to keep choosing each other as both people change.

Great for: women's events • wellbeing • relationship events • podcasts

Award Winning Speaker

In 2026, my speech My Babushka Life won the Toastmasters International Speech Contest at Division level, taking me through to the

international quarterfinals.

I went on to place runner up in the quarterfinal, narrowly missing a place in the semifinals and the opportunity to compete in Vancouver.

The experience strengthened what I already love most about speaking:

Using stories, humour and ideas to connect with an audience and leave them thinking differently long after the talk is over.
