FOR THE COUPLE WHO WANT TO STAY IN THEIR MARRIAGE

BUT HAVE NO IDEA HOW OR WHERE TO START

The Long Marriage ®:

A Roadmap to

Lasting Love, Sex & Fun

We’re taught how to fall in love. Nobody really teaches us how

to stay there.

We know the beginning.

The chemistry. The choosing. The sex. The excitement. The feeling that you’ve found your person.

But nobody really prepares us for what happens 10, 20 or 30 years later.

When you’ve raised children, built careers, paid mortgages, weathered losses, changed bodies, changed priorities and become different versions of yourselves along the way.

And then one day you can look across at the person you chose and wonder:

What happened to us?

I don't believe this automatically means you chose the wrong person.

Or that you've fallen out of love.

Or that attraction disappearing means it's gone forever.

I think we've been sold a pretty shitty story about what long-term love is supposed to look like.

The Long Marriage is a different one.

It’s the idea that a great relationship isn't something you find and then desperately try to preserve exactly as it was.

It has to evolve because you do.

There will be seasons of closeness and distance. Times when sex is incredible and times when it disappears.

Years when you're deeply connected and periods when life takes over and you drift.

The goal isn't never drifting.

It's learning how to notice when you have ... and knowing how to

change course.

That means understanding the patterns you've created together. Taking responsibility for your part without taking all the blame. Staying curious about the person beside you as they change.

Bringing yourself back to life. Rebuilding attraction, connection, friendship, pleasure and play.

Not trying to get your

old relationship back.

Creating the next version of it.

Because staying together for a long time isn't the achievement.

Still wanting the life, and the person, you've chosen is.

This program is for you if:

You've tried relationship/couples counselling before and nothing changed

You are uncertain and fearful of your next steps in your relationship

You feel like you're the only one in your marriage trying

You feel like you love your partner, but not IN love with them

You want to bring back the fun and connection to your relationship

How to Know When It's Time to Let Go or Rebuild

If you’ve found yourself Googling “Is my marriage over?” while hiding in the bathroom or crying in the car after yet another argument — you’re not alone.
And no, you’re not crazy for feeling this lost.

For many women in long-term relationships, especially those navigating midlife marriage problems, the lines between love, obligation, comfort, and confusion blur.

This article is for you if:

  • You feel more like roommates than lovers

  • You’ve tried talking, trying, even couples counselling... and nothing sticks

  • You silently wonder, “Should I stay or go?”

Let’s break down the real signs your marriage may be over — and how to know if it’s time to leave, or time to take a different approach to healing.

1. You’re not in love anymore — and you’re scared to admit it

This is one of the most searched questions:
“How do I know if I’ve fallen out of love?”
And the answer isn’t always obvious.

For many women, it’s not a dramatic breakup moment. It’s a quiet realisation. The spark is gone. You feel numb. You’ve stopped reaching for each other. And the idea of rekindling intimacy feels more exhausting than exciting.

If you’re thinking, “I love him, but I’m not in love with him,”— that’s worth listening to.

2. You feel more like housemates than a couple

You share a home. You maybe co-parent well. You manage the bills. But something deeper is missing.
No kisses hello. No “How was your day?” No warmth. No laughter.
Just passing each other in the hallway like flatmates.

This kind of emotional disconnect doesn’t just happen overnight. It’s usually the result of months or years of slowly growing apart. But it is a sign your connection is no longer being nourished — and without attention, that distance only widens.

3. You’ve tried everything — and your partner still won’t change

You’ve read the books. You’ve talked. You’ve asked. You’ve begged.
You might’ve even tried couples counselling or marriage therapy…
And nothing has shifted.

You start to wonder:
“Am I asking for too much?”
“Is this just how all marriages are?”
“Maybe I should be more patient…”

Here’s the truth: you’re allowed to want change.

And if your partner continues to ignore your needs, minimise your feelings, or shut down every effort you’ve made — it’s not on you to keep pushing.

4. You don’t miss him when he’s gone — and secretly fantasise about a different life

When you’re in a connected, loving marriage, time apart makes the heart grow fonder.
But when the love is fading… the silence can feel like freedom.

If you feel lighter when he’s away or daydream about what life would be like on your own — that’s your nervous system showing you what peace might feel like.

It doesn’t mean the marriage is over — but it does mean something’s deeply out of alignment.

5. You’ve lost yourself trying to make it work

You’ve become the “fixer.” The “try harder-er.”

You’re always the one suggesting conversations, initiating sex, booking therapy, reading the books.
And with every failed attempt, you lose a little more of yourself.

Over time, resentment builds. You begin to question your worth. You wonder why he doesn’t fight for the marriage the way you do.

The real tragedy?

Without the right support, trying to save a relationship alone will burn you out.

So… Is Your Marriage Over? Or Just at a Crossroads?

Here’s what I know from working with women like you:

💔 You don’t just want to survive your relationship.
You want to feel alive, connected, and like yourself again.

That starts with a question no one else can answer for you:
What do you want — truly?

And if that question feels too heavy to answer alone, I’ve created something that might help.
