YOU KNOW HOW TO BE A GOOD GIRL.

BUT DO YOU KNOW HOW TO BE FREE?

NOBODY REALLY TAUGHT US HOW TO TAKE UP SPACE.

We were taught to be polite.

To be considerate.

To be helpful.

To be good.

But who taught us how to speak up when our voice shakes?

How to be seen without worrying what everyone thinks?

How to say what we want, without apologising for wanting it?

How to enjoy our bodies, our sexuality and our pleasure without shame?

How to risk looking foolish, make mistakes, laugh at ourselves and have some fun?

How to stop looking outside ourselves for permission to live the lives we actually want?

There's so much more to life than being liked.

And there's so much more of YOU waiting to be expressed.

This is for you if:

You're confident and capable in some areas of your life, but still worry far too much about what people think.

You've got things to say, but sometimes talk yourself out of saying them.

You'd love to be one of those women who walks into a room and doesn't give a damn who's watching.

You avoid doing things you'd actually enjoy because you might look foolish.

You're tired of being the sensible, responsible one and secretly crave a little more adventure, fun and pleasure.

You find it easier to consider everyone else's wants and needs than to express your own. Even in the bedroom.

You know there's a bolder, more playful, more expressive version of you in there somewhere.

THE ART OF TAKING UP SPACE™

What would you do if you stopped worrying what everyone

thought of you?

What would you say?

What would you wear?

What would you try?

What would you ask for?

And how much more fun

might you have?

This is the work I love.

Helping women question the rules they've been living by, discover what they actually want and start expressing themselves without constantly seeking approval.

more ourselves.

5 Signs Your Marriage Is Over

June 08, 2025•4 min read

How to Know When It's Time to Let Go or Rebuild

If you’ve found yourself Googling “Is my marriage over?” while hiding in the bathroom or crying in the car after yet another argument — you’re not alone.
And no, you’re not crazy for feeling this lost.

For many women in long-term relationships, especially those navigating midlife marriage problems, the lines between love, obligation, comfort, and confusion blur.

This article is for you if:

  • You feel more like roommates than lovers

  • You’ve tried talking, trying, even couples counselling... and nothing sticks

  • You silently wonder, “Should I stay or go?”

Let’s break down the real signs your marriage may be over — and how to know if it’s time to leave, or time to take a different approach to healing.

1. You’re not in love anymore — and you’re scared to admit it

This is one of the most searched questions:
“How do I know if I’ve fallen out of love?”
And the answer isn’t always obvious.

For many women, it’s not a dramatic breakup moment. It’s a quiet realisation. The spark is gone. You feel numb. You’ve stopped reaching for each other. And the idea of rekindling intimacy feels more exhausting than exciting.

If you’re thinking, “I love him, but I’m not in love with him,”— that’s worth listening to.

2. You feel more like housemates than a couple

You share a home. You maybe co-parent well. You manage the bills. But something deeper is missing.
No kisses hello. No “How was your day?” No warmth. No laughter.
Just passing each other in the hallway like flatmates.

This kind of emotional disconnect doesn’t just happen overnight. It’s usually the result of months or years of slowly growing apart. But it is a sign your connection is no longer being nourished — and without attention, that distance only widens.

3. You’ve tried everything — and your partner still won’t change

You’ve read the books. You’ve talked. You’ve asked. You’ve begged.
You might’ve even tried couples counselling or marriage therapy…
And nothing has shifted.

You start to wonder:
“Am I asking for too much?”
“Is this just how all marriages are?”
“Maybe I should be more patient…”

Here’s the truth: you’re allowed to want change.

And if your partner continues to ignore your needs, minimise your feelings, or shut down every effort you’ve made — it’s not on you to keep pushing.

4. You don’t miss him when he’s gone — and secretly fantasise about a different life

When you’re in a connected, loving marriage, time apart makes the heart grow fonder.
But when the love is fading… the silence can feel like freedom.

If you feel lighter when he’s away or daydream about what life would be like on your own — that’s your nervous system showing you what peace might feel like.

It doesn’t mean the marriage is over — but it does mean something’s deeply out of alignment.

5. You’ve lost yourself trying to make it work

You’ve become the “fixer.” The “try harder-er.”

You’re always the one suggesting conversations, initiating sex, booking therapy, reading the books.
And with every failed attempt, you lose a little more of yourself.

Over time, resentment builds. You begin to question your worth. You wonder why he doesn’t fight for the marriage the way you do.

The real tragedy?

Without the right support, trying to save a relationship alone will burn you out.

So… Is Your Marriage Over? Or Just at a Crossroads?

Here’s what I know from working with women like you:

💔 You don’t just want to survive your relationship.
You want to feel alive, connected, and like yourself again.

That starts with a question no one else can answer for you:
What do you want — truly?

And if that question feels too heavy to answer alone, I’ve created something that might help.
